İzmir youth is taking initiative on effects of climate change in İzmir region. The project “Seeking Eco Giants” offers local events to raise awareness among young people on climate change, namely the water scarcity which is one of the main issues in project’s partner countries; Spain, Italy, Latvia & Turkey. The local event which took place in İzmir, Turkey on July 29th 2023 provided a chance for us to hear the suggestions from young participants about the measures to be taken on personal and community levels in order to reduce the effects of the climate change.
